Green Monster Pineapple Smoothie

This smoothie is my favorite morning pick-me-up or post hike refreshment! It’s quick, easy, and full of great nutrition!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen pineapple

  • 1 cup chopped fresh kale

  • 1/2 cup ripe avocado

  • 2 tablespoons swerve (you can exclude this if you don’t like a sweeter smoothie – the pineapple is sweet enough for most people!)

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 cup ice

Directions

  • In a blender, add your ingredients (water first, then pineapple, ice, sweetener, kale, and avocado) and blend!
  • Pour into your favorite smoothie vessel and enjoy!

Notes

  • This recipe works best with frozen pineapple. Make sure to blend until smooth and you don’t see any little dark green kale remnants floating around. Sometimes I’ll add a shot of Vitamin D or Immunity to give it a little extra kick!
