minutesThis smoothie is my favorite morning pick-me-up or post hike refreshment! It’s quick, easy, and full of great nutrition!
Ingredients
1 cup frozen pineapple
1 cup chopped fresh kale
1/2 cup ripe avocado
2 tablespoons swerve (you can exclude this if you don’t like a sweeter smoothie – the pineapple is sweet enough for most people!)
1 cup water
1 cup ice
Directions
- In a blender, add your ingredients (water first, then pineapple, ice, sweetener, kale, and avocado) and blend!
- Pour into your favorite smoothie vessel and enjoy!
Notes
- This recipe works best with frozen pineapple. Make sure to blend until smooth and you don’t see any little dark green kale remnants floating around. Sometimes I’ll add a shot of Vitamin D or Immunity to give it a little extra kick!
